COMBAT WOUNDED MARINES FUND
Mission Statement:
“Mission First, Marines Always” reflects the simultaneous responsibilities of every Marine which is accomplishing the mission while taking care of the Marines. The Combat Wounded Marines Fund (CWMF) hosts events in order to provide financial support for disabled Marines and their families. CWMF is dedicated to bringing members of the community together in order to take care of our wounded Marines who will grow old with their disabilities.

Dedicated to Captain Eric Jones, USMC. Eric was KIA on 26 October 2009 in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.

Founders
Captain John Urquhart is a decorated combat veteran and local Houstonian. Captain Urquhart completed two tours in
Caroline Urquhart is John’s younger sister and a recent LSU graduate. Caroline is dedicated to assisting these disabled Marines as valuable members of our community.
Tony Padua is a close family friend of the Urquharts and spends a considerable amount of his personal time assisting these Marines. Tony works in real estate development, management and brokerage projects in Houston and Mexico.
Christina Urquhart Wilkerson is John and Caroline’s oldest sister and specializes in fundraising for non-profits.
